One of my friends Sanjay wanted a poem to be written for his girl friend, who he says has left him. He is trying to call her back. He wanted me to write this poem. I have tried to depict his feelings. Without actually falling in love I don’t know how good this is!!

I have lost my heart

Given all beats to you

Just ask your heart once

A beat is there for me too.

You went away for a small misunderstanding

I am kept here always wanting,

Doors of heart are always open

But its that I am always craving.

Several ways to call you, I tried them all

Just say “yes”, but you missed help even this small

I am ready to take the bitterest of the pill

And finish it off before it does kill

Time and again I tried to establish contact

Always, you were not the one to react

You know it for a fact

I am not a man heavy with tact.

Come back give my life a meaning,

It’s now roaming here and there

With your presence things may change

And I will not become very strange.

Come back for its you who I need

It’s for you that my heart beats,

Be a friend do this deed

I am not asking for Olympic feats.

Come back, I call you once more

Come back before my heart gets tore!
